VISION
Indonesian Association (IA) is a non-profit organization that unites Indonesian students in Simon Fraser University. We strive to promote a fun and rewarding university experience for all members through various social events.
MISSION
We are here to unite Indonesian students, make university life a fun and rewarding experience for our members as well as to promote Indonesian culture through various social events.
We will help our members to explore those opportunities by providing related services, information, and networking opportunities. This would be one way to develop our members leadership and organization skills.
A Message From The President
"First off, WELCOME TO THE FAMILY! We're excited to have all of you join us this new year. Just a background of how SFUIA was formed.
Our Indonesian Association dates back to 2002 when we were only a small group of people doing our best to promote our Indonesian culture in Vancouver. Since then, our club has grown and continues to provide Indonesian students with a family away from home.
This year's executive team represents a new age of the association with younger leaders. Our team is full of creative minds and innovative thinkers, all with different skills and backgrounds. I have a good feeling about SFUIA's team of 2013-14 and I know that we will do our best to make you feel at home! We hope to see you in our upcoming events!!!"
